Marine tourism transportation plays an important role in supporting tourism activities in Makassar City, particularly for destinations such as Lae-Lae Island which attracts both domestic and international visitors. However, the service quality provided by local boat operators still faces several challenges including limited understanding of service standards, inadequate safety awareness, and insufficient safety equipment for passengers. This community service program aims to improve the capacity of tourism boat operators through assistance in implementing marine tourism transportation service standards. The methods used include socialization sessions, training workshops, group discussions, and evaluation of participant understanding before and after the program. The results show an improvement in the knowledge and awareness of boat operators regarding service standards, passenger safety, and service quality for tourists. The program contributes to enhancing the quality of marine tourism transportation in Lae-Lae Island, thereby supporting safe, comfortable, and sustainable tourism experiences for visitors.
